Ayurvedic Cuisine: Learn The Art of Ayurvedic Cooking For Self-Healing
What is Ayurvedic Cuisine?
Ayurvedic healing cuisine is a philosophy based upon Ayurveda, the system of medicine native to India. Its theory is predicated on the balance of nature, and importantly, on our relationships with ourselves and with the environment around us. The word “Ayurveda” itself is Sanskrit for “science of life.”
Ayurveda is one of the oldest ancient healing systems of medicine, up to 5,000 years old. Ayurveda is an elemental system, where the qualities of the elements and tastes, combined into three doshas, or constitutions, inform how we view food, medicine, our bodies, the natural world and our place within it.
