The Practice of Food and Yoga: Foundations of Ayurveda
Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts offers an innovative plant-based, health-supportive professional chef training program. In partnership with Yoga Yoga Teacher Training, we are proud to present a unique curriculum that combines principles of Ayurveda for both cooking and yoga into one transformative learning experience.
In this highly experiential training, you will divide your time between our educational kitchen for hands-on cooking instruction and our expansive yoga studio for lecture, discussion, and yoga practice.
Our experienced yoga teacher trainers will reinvigorate your practice, while our professional chef instructors will contribute their vast knowledge of plant-based cooking and refined culinary technique. The material covered in the course balances classical perspectives on food preparation as a spiritual practice with modern concepts of lifestyle change, health management, food as medicine and integrative nutrition.
The entire program is intended to foster self-inquiry and deep personal transformation.
